Help a neighbor with grocery costs

Your kindness makes a difference.

Every bag of groceries, dollar, and caring act helps a neighbor breathe a little easier this month. Thank you for showing up for your community and building a Madison that looks out for one another.

Madison Grocery Share works alongside, not instead of, local food pantries. If you’re able, please keep donating to and supporting them. They do incredible work and can stretch every dollar further than we can at the store.

Not sure where to start? You can:
  • Donate directly to a local food pantry.

  • Fill out the volunteer form to be matched directly with a neighbor in need. We’re a small group of volunteers, not a formal organization, so we can’t guarantee a match or turnaround time.

  • Contact your congressperson and urge them to protect SNAP benefits.

No matter how you help, know that it matters.

🤔 Having issues with the form?

Us, too. It's especially weird on mobile. Jump to a new tab to fill out the form with more space.

(Are you good at webpages and want to help us fix this? Email madisongroceryshare@gmail.com!)

We're not a formal organization — just some neighbors who think people should have food to eat.

This group complements, not replaces, the incredible work of local food pantries.

We're built on community feedback and collaboration. Have ideas to make it better? Email us!
